Description
Sara is a cozy independent room within Villa Manoa, part of MANOA Boutique Villas & Hidden Islands. Simple, warm and full of character, it offers a calm island stay close to the tropical garden, beach bar, seawater pool and beachfront. The room is made for travellers looking for a peaceful, intimate base at MANOA, with the sea, forest, mangroves and Ohoidertawun’s living culture all around. The space Sara is one of the four independent rooms of Villa Manoa, which shares MANOA’s beachfront, shaded garden and common spaces with Villa Tua and Villa Maayun. The room has a quiet, intimate atmosphere, ideal for travellers who want a simple and comfortable stay within the heart of the property. MANOA is surrounded by sea, forest and mangroves, on the traditional lands of the peaceful coastal village of Ohoidertawun. At the centre of the property, guests can enjoy the beach bar, dining areas, small seawater pool, tropical garden and direct access to the bay. Custom island explorations can be organised for our guests, depending on weather, tides, safety and local arrangements. Our food is inspired by Austronesian flavours, local products and the meeting of island worlds. Guest access MANOA is located in Ohoidertawun, on the coast of Kei Kecil, in a place that feels truly far from the world while remaining easy to reach: Langgur airport is less than 20 km away, about 25–30 minutes by car. On arrival, guests are welcomed by our team, an extended island family from the South Moluccas and West Papua, deeply connected to the sea, villages, local customs and island life. They are the people who give MANOA its rhythm, warmth and sense of place. Guests are shown to Sara, then have access to their private room, tropical garden, beachfront, beach bar, dining areas, small seawater pool and shared outdoor spaces. Airport transfer can be arranged on request. MANOA is easy to reach, yet the atmosphere remains rare: quiet, sea, forest, mangroves, living culture and attentive island hospitality. During your stay Échange avec les voyageurs You will be welcomed by a wonderful local team, warm, attentive and available if needed throughout your stay. We are usually on site and can help with practical advice, meals, transfers, sea trips or island explorations, always depending on weather, tides, safety and local arrangements. At the same time, we respect your privacy and the quiet rhythm of the place. Other things to note MANOA is not a standard hotel, but a quiet, lived-in island home close to nature. Dogs, cats and even a wild boar live on the property. In front of MANOA, the vast sandy bay is sometimes revealed at low tide, offering almost unreal walks between sea, light and horizon. Ohoidertawun Bay is also known for its rock paintings, part of Kei’s ancient landscape and history. Meals, drinks, transfers, excursions and extras are not included unless agreed in advance. Card payments are not available on site; please bring cash for extras, as ATM withdrawals in Langgur can be limited.
