Artists used to go to Ängelsberg in the summers to paint in the beautiful light that Ängelsberg is known for. Let yourself be inspired too. Why not paint, write, read, bring the guitar... Within walking distance of the cottage, you will find both the classic restaurant Nya Serveringen and café. There is also a tourist office, antique shop, art park, tours of historic Oljeön, etc. If you want to get to town, you can take the train to both Fagersta and Västerås with several departures per day.
