Stunning walks or bike rides directly from the house along the kennet and Avon canal. Or up into the fields behind the house which you can meander your way in to the Savernake forest. There’s plenty to explore Antiques in Hungerford, Marlbrough Avebury the canal. There’s a lovely local pub and post office with The space The cottage is tucked conveniently behind the village post office (the serves the best bacon rolls sandwiches and pastries) Walk into a pretty Garden with outdoor settings. Downstairs is a light and spacious open plan kitchen and living room perfect to lounge around and relax in. Upstairs is a nice double room A Bathroom with a shower next to the bedrooms and a spare room with a single bed. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside to explore. Across the road is the beautiful ancient flint church and a walk way to across to the Kennet and Avon canal. There’s lots to explore the ancient oaks in surrounding Savernake forest behind the cottage or the market towns of Marlborough or Hungerford are fun to explore antiques shops galore. Avebury stones are also near by. The village is also serviced by the train line up to London if you want to go and see a show.
