Our family built this cabin over 25 years ago — Mosaskjól. A small, cozy, down-to-earth cabin just outside Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A quiet retreat with a small kitchen, heating, and Wi-Fi. Full of charm — perfect for those who love nature, peace and quiet. Short walk to Hæðargarðsvatn lake and scenic views. Close to pool, grocery store, and restaurants. Great base for exploring South Iceland — 1 hr to Skaftafell, 1.5 hrs to Jökulsárlón, and near Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, Kirkjugólf, and more. The space A cozy cabin with flexible sleeping arrangements. The cabin comfortably fits 4–5 guests and can accommodate up to 6. Please note that with 6 guests, the space will feel more cozy and shared. There’s a small bedroom with two single beds placed closely together. The loft space has two floor mattresses and one single bed — do keep in mind that the ceiling is low, so it’s best for guests comfortable with limited headroom. The sofa in the small living area can also be converted into a bed.
