Bonshuku U, a renovated 180-year-old merchant house, "Old Shibuyo-ya". The two "Uriso" buildings, unique to southern Akita Prefecture, one of Japan's leading heavy snow areas, have been renovated into guest rooms, connecting the main house and the storehouse with a large roof so that you can come and go even when it snows in winter. In order to make the special space of the storehouse more casual, there are 4 original bunk beds made of Akita cedar on the 2nd floor, and a dormitory room with shared sanitary facilities on the 1st floor. Recommended for private use by solo travelers and groups. In addition to the morning sauna for guests only, there is a public sauna for men only (with ladies' days) and a private sauna for men and women, both of which require advance booking, so please book early if you wish. ｜ Lounge U ｜ You are welcome to use the public lounge with a front desk, cafe & bar, and book & record library (hours | 8: 00-21: 00/regular holidays | Wednesdays and Thursdays).
