Make some memories at this unique, secured and family friendly place. Dalkeith Greathouse is one of Jamaica's historical venues nestled in Knockpatrick in the cool parish of Manchester. Only Ten (10) minutes drive from Mandeville, this Greathouse has Four (4) independent private cottages which are all self catering units fully equipped with kitchenware available for our guests to come in and enjoy . Feel at home, enjoy the saltwater pool and explore our Three (3) acre garden at your leisure. The space At Dalkeith Greathouse you can experience the ultimate escape of being surrounded by nature's beauty and peace. As you enter the driveway of this enchanting paradise you will be greeted by the squawking of peacocks and the clucking of chickens and by our friendly ,welcoming staff . Our large secured off- road parking lot is available free of charge on property for our guests which allows for convenience and peace of mind. OUR COTTAGES Dalkeith Greathouse is one of Jamaica's historical venues. We have Four (4) self catering cottage units uniquely decorated to reflect a colonial era taking our guests back in time. Our cottages are listed as follows: Jasmin Cottage- Is a 2 bedroom cottage with One(1) double bed in each room with portable fans , shared bathroom dining area with a 4 seater dining table and full kitchen featuring its own private entrance. (SLEEPS 4) Water Lily Cottage- Is a 1 bedroom with 2 (Two) beds a double bed and twin bed , AC and portable fan also it has a shared bathroom a 2 seater dining table and full kitchen and featuring its own private entrance. (SLEEPS 3) Lavender Cottage- Is a 1 bedroom with 1 (One) double bed, AC and private bathroom a 2 seater dining table and full kitchen and featuring its own private entrance. (SLEEPS 2) Magnolia Cottage- Is a 1 bedroom with 1 (One ) double bed with portable fan a private bathroom a 2 seater dining table and full kitchen featuring its own private entrance. ( SLEEPS 2) Each cottage is equipped with appliances and utensils to facilitate in our guests' home away from home experience. Also, guests have access to tables and chairs which can be used to enjoy outdoor dining. Our salt water pool is the perfect treat to beat the hot summer heat in this tropical getaway with family and friends. Our 3 acre garden is suitable for your picnics, long evening strolls and small social gatherings allowing our guests the option to have a good time while relaxing and being at one with nature. Guest access Unauthorized guests are not permitted on property (extra guest charges will apply). Guests have access to the pool and garden areas. However, guests are not permitted entry into the greenhouse without permission. Other things to note We would like to inform guests that we have an apiary in a secluded area barred from guests on property. Guests are advised not to enter into that area while visiting. Transportation We would like to inform guests that it will take approximately 10 minutes to walk from Dalkeith Greathouse to the main road to get taxis to go into Mandeville town. Poolside Safety Guests travelling with children are responsible for supervising their children when using the pool at all times .
