Simple life in the forest

Very simple cottage for those who want to relax and live the simple life. New for 2024 is the outdoor kitchen in the back towards the cow pasture. New for 2023 is a simpler toilet with outdoor shower (cold water only). The cottage is in the middle of the wonderful Småland forests and is a perfect place for relaxation. If you want to spend your vacation with a good book and limited contact with the outside world, then this cottage is for you. Guest access You have access to the entire cottage and the surrounding forest garden. Other things to note It is possible to rent a rowboat for SEK 500 per stay (maximum 6 days). Ask us when you book if the boat is available. Fishing permits can be bought at the grocery store in Fagerhult or via iFiske Välens FVOF. There are two bicycles at the cottage that can be borrowed. Perfect for cycling to the grocery store or on small excursions. Välenbadets Camping has a laundry room that can be rented for SEK 60. Call the campsite to book an appointment and pay at the reception. For those of you who do not have a car, it is possible to take bus 310 from Växjö or Oskarshamn and then get off at Äskebäck crossroads. From the bus stop it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the cabin. Tickets can be purchased via the Länstrafiken Kronoberg app.
