A relaxed and welcoming home, thoughtfully designed with colour and calm in mind. Just a three-minute walk to local shops, parks and footpaths, and set in a friendly village in the heart of the South Downs National Park, with easy train access to London and Portsmouth. Perfect for longer stays, this is a true home-from-home. Curated from our travels around the world, it’s filled with vibrant colours, peaceful corners and thoughtful touches that invite you to settle in and unwind. Not a hotel. The space This is a characterful family home with vintage, shabby chic style, colourful details and a relaxed home-from-home feel. It is not a hotel or a polished serviced apartment, so please expect personality, quirks and a lived-in atmosphere rather than brand-new appliances, furniture and furnishings. The master bedroom has a king-size Emma mattress and is decorated in vibrant blue, inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent house in Marrakech. The double bedroom has a calm feel, quirky artwork and full-size single bunk beds, making it a good space for children or extra guests. The small bedroom has a child’s cabin bed and is best suited to a younger child. The bathroom has a Japanese noren curtain rather than a traditional door. This gives privacy, but please note that it is not a lockable bathroom door. The toilet is separate and has a lockable door. The hallway features a multicoloured light feature, so you can change the mood and atmosphere of the space. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob. These are older appliances, so please refer to the house guide for settings and instructions. The kitchen also has underfloor heating, which keeps the space cosy underfoot. The living and dining area is open plan and painted in calm, soft tones, creating a relaxed space to eat, unwind and spend time together. The conservatory brings in plenty of natural light and works well as a playroom for children, a quiet sitting area, or a practical space for drying clothes. This home is best suited to guests who enjoy creative interiors, family-friendly spaces and a relaxed, lived-in feel.
