We are 5 acres of lovingly landscaped grounds. We strive to give every guest a consistent, beautiful, relaxing, and safe experience. Our attention is on our current guest at all times while giving each guest their complete privacy. Our commitment to keeping our place pristine for every guests stay requires adults that appreciate the quality of the amenities and accepts responsibility for the care of our home and do not bring unregistered guests onto the property. Our guest house is above the barn, located in the charming village of Ballard. It is in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley wine country. The apartment has 1 bedroom, a large bathroom, and living room. There are decks off of the bedroom and living room. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig machine. The bedroom boasts high quality linens upon an extremely comfortable mattress. Guests will have private use of the beautiful pool area. The pool is heated by solar so it is not warm enough to swim in the winter. The hot tub is available though. A hot substantial breakfast is provided each morning. Post covid has opened up more socially distanced opportunities such as bike riding and hiking or a picnic on the grounds. For those of you not ready to eat out...Pick up take out and eat under the stars and Olive trees. We welcome non walking infants only. No toddlers because of safety issues. Our dedication to the highest levels of hospitality will ensure that your stay is just as you would like it. Our shared home visit is only for registered guests. It would be in violation of our house rules to share our address with anyone other than an unregistered guest. Our guests will have private access to the pool and jacuzzi. They are free to picnic or walk on the grounds. We love interacting with our guests but can also leave you alone. Our preferred method of communication is through text as it is faster and more efficient to service any needs that you may have. I will be dropping off breakfast on your deck each morning between 8:30-9:00 am. If no one is up I will knock lightly. We are around the property throughout the stay and can be seen on and off tending to property needs. Our main home is in close proximity but far enough to give you complete privacy. We live at the end of a dead end road. The street is great for a leisurely stroll to see the neighbors horses, llamas, sheep, goats etc... We have a strict 15 mile per hour speed limit on our road to provide safety for all of the free range kids and animals who live here. It is a short walk to the neighborhood Bob's Well Bread Bakery for a great breakfast and or lunch. Our outdoor pool activity closes down at 10 pm to ensure a quiet, dark, star filled evening for all in the neighborhood to enjoy. We have a neighborhood agreement for no un-registered guests to airbnb properties at any time. We enjoy being hosts to guests that understand the loveliness of our neighborhood and who wish to be a part of the experience of living in wine country. We recommend one of the many personal drivers for the serious wine tasters. Bring your bikes for an athletic tour of the area or enjoy some leisurely strolls or hikes. Our area consists of more than wine tasting. There are plenty of charming boutiques in Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Solvang. Our Hiking trails are beautiful.
