Summer cottage with lake view

Cozy summer cottage in a quiet location directly by the lake Kroksjön with proximity to swimming, fishing, hiking and forest. The cottage is of a good standard with a newly renovated kitchen, bathroom & hall, living room, and an outdoor seating area with furniture and barbeque. During your stay, you also have access to the house's boat with oars. Free Wi-Fi and parking is included. The space The accommodation is divided into the following: Large terrace with outdoor furniture for 8 people Hallway with hat shelf and shoe rack and cleaning cabinet Fully equipped kitchen Bathroom with shower. Living room with adjoining dining area. Three bedrooms are available with division as below: Bedroom 1 has one queen-size bed (160 cm) Bedroom 2 has a double bed (160 cm) Bedroom 3 has a sofa bed (90 cm + 90 cm) Guest access You have access to the entire cottage and the property with the storage room that is intended for tenants. During your stay, you also have access to the house's boat and jetty. NOTE: The right of public access applies in Sweden, and other people may be present by the jetty. 2 life jackets are available to borrow for children. One holds children weighing 15-30 kg and the other 40-60 kg. For adults, there are no life jackets at this time. The boat can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The filtration bed must NOT be entered, as it is on the property and shared with the neighbor. Other things to note Need to Know: * The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need during your stay. You need to bring your own food. *Electricity and waste management are included in the price. Careful waste sorting is required! There are clear instructions. * Blankets and pillows are available in every bedroom. Bed linens are included, and the beds are made upon arrival. * The TV only broadcasts German channels. It is possible to connect with an HDMI cable and stream through the TV or from your own device through Apple TV or Google. You can stream Netflix, Prime, etc. Bring your own: Food Towels Hygiene Items Charcoal if you want to grill If the landlord cannot meet you personally on site, there is a possibility for self-check-in through a key box. Directions and code for the key box will be sent the day before arrival. Höjemåla is located about 4 km outside Holmsjö where there is a grocery store, pizzeria, gas station, train station and a café in summer. Take the opportunity to visit the naval city of Karlskrona, which is about 35 minutes away by car. Karlskrona offers shopping, nice restaurants and a beautiful archipelago - take a tour with the archipelago traffic. During the winter of 2025/2026, we will renovate the cottage to raise the standard. Therefore, the pictures in the kitchen and living room will not match the pictures in the ad. New photos will be uploaded when the renovation is completed. The hall is newly renovated in the spring of 2025 and new outdoor furniture for 8 people is available for use. Water filter system and air heat pump installed in autumn 2025. Living room and kitchen newly renovated in the spring of 2026. We who rent out the cottage speak Swedish, German and English.
