The space Charming wooden chalet in the countryside – all comforts, close to the highway Welcome to our warm wooden chalet located in Montchauvier / Saint-Lamain (39230), in the heart of the Jura, just 5 minutes from the A39 highway exit. In the middle of nature but easily accessible, it is the ideal place for a getaway for two or in a small group (up to 4 people). Comfort, quiet and friendliness await you. The accommodation: The small chalet includes a cozy bedroom upstairs with a double bed 160 x 200 cm, as well as a double sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped: mini oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker (Senseo), kettle, complete dishes, and many amenities for gourmet meals (barbecue, plancha, raclette machine, fondue service). Bathroom: Modern bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Linens and towels are provided. Heating & comfort: You will enjoy a pellet stove, two electric radiators as well as air conditioning for optimal comfort all year round. Wi-Fi and TV are also included. Access to the room: Please note that access to the room is via a miller's ladder (see photo) and the room is on a slope. Outdoor: Terrace with parasol and small outdoor space available for your meals or moments of relaxation in the countryside. Special option: Upon request, a bottle of fresh Jura sparkling wine will be waiting for you upon arrival for an additional €20. Ideal location: The chalet is only: 5 minutes from the A39 highway exit 10 minutes from Poligny 20 minutes from Baume-les-Messieurs 20 minutes from Arbois, one of the most beautiful villages in the Jura A perfect base for exploring the region, its landscapes, its cellars, and its heritage. Guest access The entire accommodation is at your disposal except the top shelf of the cabinet in the living room (reserved for the host). Other things to note Pellet stove: I provide the wood pellets for the stove. (Only works perfectly with oak pellets) Water heater: It is an instant water heater (to save space). To get water that is hot enough, you need to turn the sink or washbasin faucets to the middle position, not all the way on. No worries for the shower (high-pressure showerhead) TV: The TV is connected to Wi-Fi via a Google Chromecast. Conventional channels are available via my Molotov TV account. You can add your Netflix or Amazon codes, etc., to access your favorite entertainment. Cleaning: Please take good care of the place and leave it as clean as you found it, for the comfort of all guests. The equipment needed for cleaning is available in the cabinet. When you leave, please: - Strip the bed. - Place the linens on the trunk at the entrance - Tidy up/clean the place/do the cleaning everywhere (especially the kitchen and bathroom) - Put your garbage in the brown and yellow bins at the entrance to the property (glass bin 500 m away towards Saint-Lamain) - Lock up and put the key back in the lockbox
