There is nothing here... that's why it's so relaxing... 　Chizu-cho, Hatto-gun, Tottori Prefecture, is a small town in a mountainous area surrounded by mountains, rivers, fields and rice paddies, 93% of which are forests. 　The Tottori Sand Dunes, a tourist attraction, are about an hour away by car, and there are several nice tourist spots and recommended cafes in the town. 　It's a good place to use as a base for sightseeing, or just relax to your heart's content without going anywhere. Please have a wonderful time. The space The building where you will stay is a two-story detached building connected to the main house by a corridor. There is a river behind it, and you can hear the pleasant sound of the river. The mountains across the river change their scenery with the seasons, and you can't get tired of looking at them every day. 　Enjoy a relaxing stay while feeling the seasonal wind, listening to the chirping of birds and the sound of the river. In the evening, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire in the courtyard or on the terrace by the river while watching the stars, and on a good weather day, breakfast while watching the mountains is also great. The first floor of the building has a dining kitchen, bath, and toilet, and the bedroom is on the second floor. Please be careful when using the stairs to the second floor, as they are a little steep for small children and those with mobility issues. The kitchen has some of the tools and dishes you need to cook. You can also use the earthenware pot, hot plate, takoyaki machine, etc. Please bring your own food and seasonings. However, if you suddenly find something is missing, please don't hesitate to ask the host. I hope you enjoy cooking for yourself during your stay... Towels, shampoo & conditioner, body soap, and hair dryer are provided. Please bring your own toothbrush. Please understand that this is because we try not to use disposable items as much as possible. If you forget, we sell toothbrushes that can be used for a long time. (150 yen per toothbrush) The bedrooms on the second floor are a tatami mat room and a room with flooring, and they are separated by curtains. Please note that there are two bedrooms, but they are not completely separate rooms. There are two single beds in the room with the wooden floor and several futons in the tatami room. If you have babies or children with you, please let us know and we will be flexible. Please refrain from smoking inside the building. If you smoke, please do so on the terrace outside. (Please be careful when handling fire.) You can also stay with your pets, who are part of your family. However, in that case, please refrain from entering the room (bedroom) on the second floor. Also, please note that I have a white cat in my house. (I'm sorry if you don't like cats!) Guest access The separate accommodation and the main house where the host family lives are connected by a hallway, so you can enjoy a private space, but if you have any problems or don't know something, you can talk to us right away. Also, if you wish, I can introduce you to recommended spots in the surrounding area and tell you about daily life, so please feel free to ask. Other things to note Basically, the main house is a private space for the family, but if you need anything, we will try to accommodate you as much as possible. Also, if you come by public transportation, we can pick you up at the station if it is convenient. The nearest station to the accommodation is JR Nagi Station, about a 5-6 minute walk from Nagi Station. It is about 10 minutes by car from JR Chikuzu Station, where the express train stops. We can accommodate you from either station.
