Ferry at bottom of the hill goes to Waterford (5 min crossing) Waterford city is a Viking city on the river with lots of places to see, go to the museum for a block of tickets and under the museum are viking rooms . On the way to the famine ship tour (very interesting plus a cafe) in New Ross is President Kennedy Park and a river Cruise from New Ross. Dunbrody monestry is nearby. A tour of Duncannon fort next to the beach. Tintern Abbey (lovely river walks) and the Heritage Centre are on the road to Wexford town. From the bedroom window you will see the oldest working lighthouse in the world the tour is very good and so is the cafe. On the road to the lighthouse are coves with beaches. Johnstown castle does a really good tour and gardens for very good price. The greenaway cycle and footpath along the coast. Cliff path here on the pier in Arthurstown.
