Welcome to our cosy cottage nestled at the foot of Hergest Ridge. It’s the perfect getaway for couples, groups and families - and your furry friends. Guests can enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills, and relax in the tranquility of village life. Whether you’re after a peaceful getaway with stunning views, or an active break exploring everything Wales has to offer - our cottage is sure to deliver. The village pub welcomes guests with open arms, just a short 6 minute walk away. The space Upstairs you’ll have a king size bedroom and a double bedroom, both cosy and unique in their own way. The bathroom boasts a free standing tub and spectacular views to take in while you enjoy a soak. Downstairs, the lounge makes for a lovely evening in, with the wood burner to keep you warm. Here you’ll find a very comfortable double sofa bed with luxurious bedding. Off of the hallway, the downstairs bathroom reveals yet another gorgeous view - one that can be appreciated from the walk in waterfall shower. The spacious kitchen dining area is perfect for a group dinner. Sociable yet homely, it’s the ideal place to hang out and make memories. The mezzanine provides the perfect spot to curl up and read a book. Feel free to fire up the barbecue, spend some time in the garden with more panoramic views, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Locally, we are spoilt with footpaths. Notably the Hergest Ridge, Offa’s Dyke paths and Water Break-it’s-Neck. Bannau Brycheiniog National Park is just 45 minutes away, home to a plethora of walks, hikes and spectacular scenery. The famous literary town of Hay-on-Wye is a short 20 minute drive away. There’s lots of history to be found in Hereford, which is only a 30 minute drive. We can’t wait for you to enjoy your stay at our home!
