Charming cottage in a medieval atmosphere! The space Charming cottage in an old priory, located in Montaigut-le-Blanc, an authentic medieval village labeled "small cities of character", ideally located between the lakes and volcanoes of Auvergne to discover the landscapes of Sancy, Puy-de-Dôme, many villages, castles and Romanesque churches. The house is adjoining the owner's house. The asset of this house is the exterior, a peaceful oasis, with several gardens and two terraces. You will enjoy a terrace with garden furniture adjoining the cottage and another terrace with garden furniture, sunbathing and barbecue with stunning views of the village of Montaigut-le-Blanc (this terrace is accessible by 5 stone steps). In spring you will be amazed by the flowering of wisteria and peonies. Many villages are nearby to visit: Saint-Nectaire, Murol, Besse and Saint Anastaise, Issoire, Saint-Saturnin, Montpeyroux as well as the Grottes de Jonas, the Gergovie plateau, the Puy du Sancy and the Puy-de-Dôme (panoramic train), the Chambon, Aydat, Pavin lakes... For hiking enthusiasts, seven trails start from the village. The gîte consists of: On the ground floor: - a living room library with wood-burning stove - a large kitchen On the 1st floor: - a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a bathroom with adjoining toilet.
