The Tardes Refuge

Welcome to Le Refuge de la Tardes, an elegant countryside house nestled by a river, in the heart of a 60-hectare private estate passed down through generations. Located just 15 minutes from Aubusson, this holiday home offers peace, nature, and comfort for stays of up to 10 guests. On site, you can enjoy a heated swimming pool, hiking trails, and electric mountain bike rentals, and relaxing amenities. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, as well as the terrace and the courtyard located in front of the cottage, which are on flat ground. However, access to the enclosed garden and the swimming pool requires going down a gentle slope. The swimming pool is open from June 15 to September 15. An earlier opening may be possible in the event of exceptionally warm weather, but this decision can only be made a few days in advance, depending on weather conditions. There is a river close to the cottage; however, access to it is very steep and difficult. It is therefore not recommended for young children or for people with reduced mobility or walking difficulties. The property is bordered by the hiking trail known as the "Chemin Jean Guitton". Walks are also possible in the adjacent forest, but the paths are not marked. The château and the cottage are located in a hilly valley area. Because of the terrain, access may be difficult with strollers and for people with mobility limitations.
