Escape to our charming 1-bedroom beach bungalow in tranquil Sisal. Direct beach access! Rise & shine to Gulf breezes & all-day beachcombing. The space The property is tucked in greenery just behind two of our other beach houses. There is a garden path from the front door of the property directly to the beach. On this path are two shared outdoor lounges. One lounge is perfect for sunbathing and stargazing. The second is a shady pergola under which one can sit, relax, snack and enjoy the amazing ocean view. Or you can continue walking through the gardens to the beach and lounge on chairs under an umbrella right at the water’s edge. Also within our property is a large wooden platform perfect for outdoor exercises like yoga, or sunbathing/stargazing. To rinse off sand after the beach, the cabin has an outdoor shower with direct access into the private bathroom. There is a parking spot for regular-sized vehicles reserved for guests just outside the fenced entrance to the property. Additional parking can also be made available upon request. Guest access Guests have full access to their unit. Also, guests can walk and lounge in our outdoor garden spaces leading to the public beach. Our property is almost completely fenced-in. Other things to note Our beach house comfortably sleeps 3 people. The bedroom has a double bed; and the living-room has a sofa-bed that is perfect for one person. If it suits the guest, the sofa-bed could accommodate 2. Also, there are hammocks available. There is an additional charge of 750 pesos per night if a 4th guest is included. IMPORTANT NOTE 🐜 🦟 : Our cabin is nestled in natural surroundings, near backwaters & steps away from the ocean. While we have taken every legal step regarding insect control, please expect the RANDOM visitation of ants, especially when the weather brings rain; and, expect mosquitos. Levels of these insects fluctuate throughout the seasons, so please be prepared with personal insect repellents, exercise caution with food storage (ie. don’t leave food out), avoid leaving doors & windows open at night, and do not be alarmed if some ants appear. Generally, it is as simple as sweeping them away from time to time, if at all. While we encourage bringing your own choice repellents, we will furnish the rental with some typical repellent to have you covered for basic insect control. 😄
