Located just 4 minutes from Nakusp, this home features an expansive deck with breathtaking lake + mountain views, direct private lakefront access (rocky shore), full kitchen, bbq, laundry and all the cozy touches that make a house feel like a home away from home. The space Welcome to our peaceful lakefront sanctuary, just minutes from the town of Nakusp. This is a space to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect, ideal for couples, creatives, and nature lovers seeking beauty and stillness. Two King Bedrooms – Each room is designed for deep rest, with plush king beds, soft linens, and tranquil surroundings. One offers a partial lake view through cedar trees and the sound of a spring-fed stream when the window is open. The other, nestled at the back of the house, overlooks forest and shed (quiet, simple, and cozy). Full Bathroom – Clean, calming, and stocked with essentials for a nourishing stay. Fully Equipped Kitchen – Prepare meals with ease using the stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, toaster, drip coffee maker, pour-over gear, coffee grinder and an assortment of teas, dishware, and cooking basics (everything you need for a comfortable, home-style stay). Open Living & Dining – A cozy living room with forest and lake views flows into a warm dining area. Enjoy the freestanding fireplace, slow mornings with tea, or wine-soaked evenings surrounded by stillness. Expansive Deck – Gaze out at Upper Arrow Lake and the Monashee Mountains (with Saddle Mountain in full view). Ideal for sunrise coffees, sunset meditation, or simply being. Private Beach Access – Take a walk down to your own lakefront area to dip your toes, enjoy a picnic, or simply sit in stillness by the water. The path is steep in sections and requires sturdy footwear and able-bodied movement—especially on the return walk up. It’s a bit of a heart-pumper after a cool lake dip, but so worth it! Dog Friendly- we happily welcome one well-behaved dog to join you on your getaway! We have a one time pet fee of $35. Just let us know when booking so we can prepare accordingly. We kindly ask that fur family are kept off furniture, with you during outings, and are picked up after (a dedicated bin is located in the carport for pet waste). Good to Know - Sleeps up to 4 guests (ideal for couples or adult friends traveling together) - The walk to the lake is steep in some areas – please wear sturdy shoes and take your time - We’re in the forest – you may see deer, eagles, hummingbirds, coyotes, or even bears. Please respect the land: leave no trace and be responsible with all food and garbage to help protect local wildlife. - The fire pit is not in use during wildfire season (thank you for understanding + honoring the land). - The property feels peaceful and secluded, though some highway noise will be heard during parts of the day. - In the fall and winter months, our area can experience an increase in harmless stink bugs, especially in forested settings like ours. They’re slow-moving and mostly just a seasonal nuisance, and while we do our best to manage them, you may notice a few inside. We provide everything you need to easily remove them during your stay. Guest access Guests have full private access to the main home, which includes: two king bedrooms, one full bathroom, the fully equipped kitchen, open-concept living and dining area, washer/dryer, and the expansive lakeview deck. You’ll also have direct access to the private beach area via a shared outdoor path (note: it’s steep and requires sturdy footwear). The property has a shared driveway, and guest vehicles have priority use of the carport. One additional vehicle can fit in the driveway. Please be aware the driveway is long, narrow, and somewhat steep. Let us know if you’ll need help when you arrive. We live in the attached suite next door and may be onsite during your stay, but your space is fully separate and private. Other things to note Please read before booking: Our outdoor fire pit is strictly seasonal and only available when permitted by local fire authorities. We comply with all provincial fire bans to protect the land. Fire safety tools and a hose safety guidelines are provided to guests. This home is on septic and creek water, so we ask guests to be mindful: no flushing anything besides toilet paper, and minimal use of harsh chemicals or excess water. We provide filtered drinking water is provided via water jug for your stay. We offer Wi-Fi, and it’s typically reliable—but we are in a rural setting, so occasional fluctuations may occur. Cell phone service can be spotty depending on provider as well (connect phone to Wi-Fi calling this works well). Access to the private beach is via a shared, steep path. Sturdy footwear is recommended and guests must be comfortable navigating a hill on foot. This is a sanctuary, not a party home. No smoking, no unregistered guests, and no loud gatherings please. Winter bookings require 4WD or AWD vehicles with good winter tires. We maintain the driveway, but it is long, narrow, and has a moderate incline. The property is owner managed and we reside in the attached suite with regular on-site presence to ensure guest support and property oversight. Your space is fully private, and we deeply honor your boundaries. We have two small, friendly dogs who may greet you from our side of the property.
