Urasoe Banana House

This is a renovated, comfortable house that my Okinawan grandfather built as a Go dojo. About 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport, and about 40 minutes to the Blue Cave.I think it is a very convenient location, close to the city of Naha and with easy access to the natural areas of the north. The large terrace overlooks the garden and the ocean.Also, in the large garden, we have planted Okinawan plants such as bananas (my artist friends take care of them).If there are any bananas during your stay, please let me know and I will share them with you🍌. I am gradually collecting books about the sea and culture of Okinawa (see photos).Please feel free to look around.If you are interested, I can tell you about some good snorkeling spots.If the sizes fit, we can also lend you snorkeling equipment for adults and children.
