Delightful 2 bedroom holiday cottage on a working lakeland farm. Birchbank cottage is semi detached to the farmhouse with parking for up to 2 cars a small seating area to the front. The cottage is superbly located in the heart of the Cumbrian fells with easy access to the central and western lakes. It is ideal for walking and cycling being close to the Cumbrian Way and many other footpaths and bridleways, as well as cycle routes for all levels of ability. The space As you step into the cottage there is a entrance hall/corridor, leading into the lounge/kitchen/ dining area which is furnished and includes TV, DVD player, dishwasher and microwave. The bathroom is also located in the downstairs of the property, it has a shower over the bath. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a washbasin and a view over the fells, and a twin bedroom. Cot available on request. A laundry room is available with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is WIFI available at the property but it is a rural connection so speeds are very limited - it is often not possible to stream live TV, make WIFI calls or download large files. Because of the location of this property a car is essential.
