Lovely home above the beautiful Porthmellon Beach

An ideal family “home from home” offering spacious accommodation with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are views out over Porthmellon to Tresco and the islands of Tean and St Helens from the garden. The space The first thing you’ll notice when you look down the hill from Lower Jacksons is the view over Porthmellon Beach. Spend a lazy morning on the balcony, as you take in these sea views, read the book that’s been on your list for ages and enjoy a morning coffee. If your idea of a perfect holiday is messing around on the water, you just need to head down to the beach and you’ll find the watersports centre, whether you want to try your hand at windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding or sailing this is the place to come, or, if you prefer to take it easy and want to watch everyone else having a go you can just relax on the powder white sands and soak up the suns rays! Fancy trying the town for an evening out, it’s only about a 5 minute walk away, where you’ll find the restaurants and takeaways, as well as a few pubs and bars dotted about, or what about treating yourself to a meal out with a difference and take a supper boat to St Martins to sample their fish and chips and enjoy the views of the sun setting over the horizon as you make your way back. A perfect base for the whole family, after a week or twos stay here you won’t want to leave. The house was provides spacious accommodation comprising, a double bedroom (super king bed) , a further bedroom with a double and a single bed that are serviced by a bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a master twin bedroom (or super king double - please state which you need when booking) with adjacent shower room on the first floor. The large lounge/diner opens to a balcony and very well equipped kitchen are also on the first floor. Please note that during peak season the changeover day is only on a Friday. You are welcome to arrive after that day (Saturday or Monday) just please message me to discuss the dates. Guest access Guests have full use of the property and balcony. Other things to note We want you to enjoy your stay with us so a couple of things to note. 1)There is a privately owned apartment above Lower Jacksons and we respectfully ask that guests are mindful of this during their stay. 2) To make the most of the views we are, of course, up a steep hill and does have a couple of steps to get into the house. 3) We welcome behaved pets, we ask that they are not allowed on the furniture.
