Genuine log cabin with ski-in, ski-out on southern Trysil mountain. 5 bedrooms with 10-12 beds. Plenty of good lounges. Let us know if you want cleaning when you book. The space Dear Guests Welcome to our family log. This cabin is the 75th cabin on the south hill side of Trysilfjellet. It was built with genuine forest logs in 1975, on behalf of Marianne and Rolf Nobel. It is located on a quiet road on the hill side with smooth ski-in and ski-out access to both tracks for cross country skiing as well as an easy and comfortable access to the slopes and ski system. Since 1975 we as a family and many guests like yourself have enjoyed this log to spend quality time with family and friends and profit from the lovely nature and sport facilities. We have 3 subscriptions to pay for this. Before you travel and check in, send the details of your registration plates you have on the cars (max 3 cars) and we will enter them into the system on our subscription. Then you avoid receiving an invoice for road tax during your stay. Please note that there may be parking charges when parking down in the village. NOTE: All guests bring their own linen for sleeping. Pillows, blankets, duvets etc are available but no linen nor towels and personal belongings such as shower gels, soap etc. NOTE: We do not have any cleaning service between guests. ALL guests clean and leave the cabin in the same way it was found at check-in. All necessary detergents and cleaning tools are available. An instruction for cleaning is provided in the cabin. Other things to note ACCESS TO SKI SYSTEM (Ski-in Ski-out) To access the ski system from the house. You exit our parking and take to the right and walk the 50 meters to the end of the road where you take another right and walk approximately 20 meters, where you see an exit for skis into the woods on your left hand side. You walk some 20 meters and the fun begins. Follow the track down and you will arrive to the slopes and the lift system (T1 or T2). To find your way back to the log from the ski system you exit the system and the bottom of the lift S1 (not far from Skihytta). Here you find a slope going down between various houses. Follow that road while making choices to choose left when there is a choice and you will end up a road where you went downhill with your car when you arrive at the log the first time. You can either walk down the road with your skis and then turn the first right and follow that road and you will return to the log. Sometimes (depending on the amount of snow etc) you can find a man-made track cutting through the woods to get closer to the log. After a day or two guests usually find the best way back to the log given the snow conditions. If you like to go cross country skiing you enter the tracks the same way as above. You can go downhill to the valley or you could go in the opposite direction and go upp the hill which is preferred. Here you can find various tracks. There are maps in our log describing the various track in the woods as well as on the mountain. We hope you find your favorite. Make sure that you find your way back to the log. There are maps in the cabin or to get down in the village. You go down the Mårstien and take the right and the next road up. There the track begins on the left side. Make sure that you do not park to close to the road as they snow showel the road on regular basis.
