Welcome to a secluded gem by the fjord, where nature and tranquility take center stage. Here, you can unwind, breathe in fresh sea air, and enjoy days in beautiful surroundings. The cabin offers stunning views of the fjord and a sense of peace and privacy. From spring to autumn, this is a paradise: Start your day with coffee in the sun, take a dip in the fjord, or go paddleboarding along the coast. As evening falls, you can grill dinner, gather around the fireplace, and enjoy the summer night. The space The cabin is idyllically located on the waterfront, just 75 meters from the fjord. Wake up to the gentle sound of waves and birdsong, with nature right outside your door. Start your day with a morning coffee on the terrace before putting on your shoes and exploring the nearby nature reserve. Take a refreshing swim from one of the small nearby coves and enjoy long, lazy summer days by the sea. The outdoor area is spacious and family-friendly, featuring a large lawn perfect for games, play, and relaxation. For those seeking a bit of adventure, two SUP boards are available, an excellent way explore the fjord on warm summer days. The area offers fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities throughout the season. Just below the cabin, you’ll find the popular coastal trail, ideal for both leisurely walks and scenic runs along the shoreline. There are also several swimming spots nearby, ranging from a small, sheltered pebble beach right by the cabin to larger beaches with piers just a short walk away. For local outings, you can take a stroll to Knatvoldstranda (approx. 20 minutes), which offers a kiosk and light refreshments. The charming coastal village of Holmsbu is also just a short drive away, with cozy cafés, small shops, and a true Norwegian summer atmosphere. In addition, Rødtangen, Tofte, and Sætre are all within easy reach, popular seaside destinations. Important information – Spring 2026 The cabin is undergoing some minor maintenance after the winter, and we would like to inform you of the following: The outdoor fireplace shows some cosmetic wear, including peeling paint and minor cracks in the surface, but it is fully functional and safe to use. A corner of the living room ceiling previously had moisture damage. This has been repaired and is currently temporarily covered. It does not affect the usability of the room. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions—we want you to feel comfortable and have the best possible stay. Guest access Bedrooms & Amenities The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay: Main cabin: Two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a family bunk bed (the lower bed being 120cm), and an open-plan living room and kitchen with a fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings with board games and good conversation. Bathroom with a Cinderella incineration toilet and a simple shower. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and parts of the furniture have recently been upgraded for added comfort, including new armchairs and outdoor furniture. Annex: Separate bedroom with a double bed, as well as a simple outdoor toilet. Other things to note Linens and towels can be offered upon request.
