Or relax in the cool outdoor wooden barn set in a mature zen-garden with tiki bar, hammock & sauna. 8-9 guests The space Langton Grange is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed Sussex Farmhouse built in the 1600’s in Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. It is a fantastic family home, offering occasional weekly rentals for 8 people. Located in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, near the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the stunning South Downs & close to Gatwick Airport. Langton Grange has an adjacent cottage which has an outdoor heated swimming pool set in a continental style courtyard for your sole use during your stay (open until 8pm). It is overlooked by the adjacent cottage who lives on site but you won’t be disturbed. Soak up the sun on the loungers provided around the heated swimming pool. (heated from Mid May – Mid September, weather permitting. Closed in winter.). There is a ground floor toilet you can use by the pool. Located on a quiet country lane. It overlooks a large duck pond, front garden and driveway. To the rear is a small patio & large back garden with a cool wooden barn set in a mature zen-garden complete with a tiki bar, double hammock & wood-fired sauna & small ice bath. There is also a trampoline & a chicken coop & chicken run that produce 2-3 fresh eggs a day. There is a large 8-10 seater outdoor table & chairs & a few smaller table & chairs in other locations. It is a mix of contemporary & traditional, stylish and spacious. Walking into the hallway you can see the first of the exposed grey beams that feature throughout the property. To the left you walk into an impressive open-plan lounge, dining area & kitchen with large inglenook fireplace the perfect space to entertain friends and family! The kitchen french door leads to the back garden & the patio with the large outdoor table & chairs. Through the back French doors you can access an impressive laundry/boot room with a feature pulley-maid where you can air your washing. FYI: There is no downstairs toilet as the study is closed to guests. Wake up & enjoy a sauna in the cool outdoor wooden barn in the back garden. Take a dip in the large heated swimming pool in the adjacent cottage’s Mediterranean style courtyard. Relax and enjoy a drink in the hammock from the tiki bar in our cool outdoor wooden barn. Wander through the picturesque local countryside. Cook a feast in the fully equipped modern kitchen with an Everhot aga-style cooker, or outside on the gas BBQ. You can dine in comfort with the 8 seater dining area or relax in the luxurious lounge area. Sit back & enjoy a movie on the big TV screen with Sky & Netflix or watch your favourite game of sport. There are four bedrooms & three bathrooms. The first floor there is the master bedroom with a superking size bed and an en-suite bathroom with large double ended bath and wet-room style shower. The next bedroom has a double bed & swinging chair with a bathroom just across the hall. This bathroom has a bath & a shower cubicle. The top floor there is a large bedroom with feature beams & a king size bed. The second bedroom on the top floor also has a king size bed & a wattle & daub feature wall. The two bedrooms on the top floor share a bathroom with a black crittel shower. A couple of rooms will be locked & not part of the listing. I’m Guest access Easy access off the country lane. Lots of parking available. No downstairs toilet in the main house, as the study is closed off for guests but there is a ground floor toilet you can use by the pool
