White Oak Cottage, a peaceful countryside retreat.

White Oak Cottage is a luxury cottage hidden in the Lincolnshire Wolds, and is an ideal countryside retreat - set in 3 1/2 acres of grounds. Stroll along its woodland walks, unwind under the weeping willows, or just relax in the hot tub taking in the glorious views of the Wolds. The cottage has everything you would ever need from wood burner to EV charger, and of course, we welcome your canine friends. The local pub is a gentle 20 minute stroll away, and 2 market towns are only 10 minutes away. The space The cottage has a well equipped kitchen including an induction hob, and 2 ovens. It also has a fridge, mini freezer, microwave and washing machine. The main living room has a smart TV, wood burner, comfy seating , cupboard with toys and games, and an extendible dining table. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed, and an attached bathroom with bath and separate shower. The bedroom includes a wardrobe, chest of drawers and vanity table. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, and an attached bathroom with a walk in shower. The bedroom includes a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Each bedroom has a mirror and hairdryer provided. Off the second bedroom, there is another smaller living area with smart tv, comfy chairs and views up the Wolds. Outside, there is a private patio which contains a large hot tub, bbq, and table and chairs, and borders a large grassed area. At the front of the cottage their is parking for 2 vehicles, and a 7kW EV Charger. Guests are welcome to the explore the grounds which include some woodland, and several seating areas. The cottage is a 20 minute stroll from the village pub ‘The George and Dragon’, and a 10 minute drive from Horncastle - which has shops, supermarkets, lots of cafes and is best known for its various antique shops. There is lots to do in the area, with zoos, air museums, country walks only a short drive away. The Lincolnshire coast with its stunning beaches is only 30 minutes away with a choice of lively or quiet seaside resorts, and historic Lincoln with its castle and cathedral is 45 minutes away. Guest access Guests have access to all of the cottage with its private patio. They also have access to the 3 1/2 acre of grounds, which are shared with the owners main house. Guests should be aware that there is a small pond on the site, approx. 50m from the cottage. Other things to note Kindling and wood are provided for the wood burner. The EV charger is charged based on usage - payment to be made on departure.
