Hemlock timbers, hand-hewed from rough logs and stained to perfect Sedona red, provide the skeleton of this “Eastern Adobe”. Natural cedar and earth-tone interiors blend with heated Mexican tile and southwestern artwork to create a desert environment worthy of Santa Fe. The Adobe sleeps four guests, featuring both an oversized bedroom loft with rolling views into the valley, as well as a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa downstairs. The Adobe was specifically designed with our guest's comfort in mind. We'll provide food and water bowls as well as doggy clean-up bags. Please note that you will be charged an additional $30 if your pet(s) join you (limit two pets). We do ask guests to ensure that their pets do not damage any furniture or linens in order to prevent additional charges. The following items are available upon request: - Iron and ironing board - Pack n' play We like to give our guests the gift of privacy but are always available if you need anything. We live in a house across the field from the Adobe! We are located less than 10 minutes from Jay Peak Resort, a year-round destination that boasts the deepest powder skiing/snowboarding on the East Coast, a championship 18-hole golf course, an indoor waterpark, Nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, dining, shopping, and more. We are also just several minutes from the heart of Montgomery Center, Vermont, a quaint but energetic town of under 1,000 people. Montgomery is home to seven historic and picturesque covered bridges, the Vermont Salt Cave Spa and Halotherapy Center, unique and delicious dining establishments, numerous semi-private swimming holes, and much more. Our cottages each include a local guide detailing all of the fabulous attractions in the area. We tend to get quite a bit of snow between November and April. We highly recommend traveling in a vehicle with snow tires and 4-wheel drive if you're planning a winter visit! Occupancy is limited to 4 people, with at least one adult (the booking party) at the Adobe Cottage. Occupancy beyond the permitted four will result in a $300 penalty and may result in immediate expulsion from the property with no refund. Check in is at 3pm on the day of arrival. Early check in of 1pm may be available for a fee of $25, but requires confirmation by the owners. Check out is at 10am on the day of departure. Late check out of 12pm may be available for a fee of $35, but requires confirmation by the owners. Any guests that check out after 10am will be subject to the late charge fee. Smoking and/or vaping inside the cottages is not permitted, as are open flames of any sort (candles, personal propane stoves/kettles, etc.) and use of glitter. Failure to respect this prohibition will result in an additional fee of $100 to clean, remove the odors, and/or mitigate damage.
