Additional logs can be purchased during your stay if needed. The log-fired hot tub takes approximately 3–4 hours to heat from cold. We’ll provide instructions and can help with setup if you need guidance. We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs (a small fee applies). Please keep dogs under control due to livestock nearby and avoid allowing them on furniture or beds. Children must be supervised when exploring the outdoor areas, especially near animals, the hot tub, and firepit. The property has ample private parking beside the cabin. We kindly ask that guests dispose of rubbish in the bins provided, run the dishwasher before departure, and leave the cabin tidy. This helps us prepare for the next guests and keeps the experience lovely for everyone. The cabin is located in a rural area, so we recommend bringing a car. Local shops, pubs, and market towns like Richmond and Barnard Castle are a short drive away. We have a new shop and cafe which opened on site on 28th March 2026, there is a menu in the lodge and you can reserve tables for either breakfast or lunch. We are so excited for our guests having this as a valuable addition to your stay.
