The cabin has been created as a place to slow down and reconnect with nature, with thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable while still preserving the feeling of being away from it all. The experience outside Step onto the deck and you'll hear the creek flowing nearby(except for a few months of the year Aug to Oct) and surrounded by the sounds of the Australian bush. Your favourite part may be the private wood-fired hot tub, where you can soak while looking out towards the creek. Light the fire, pour yourself a drink and settle in while the evening turns into night. There's also an outdoor firepit with a swinging hotplate and grill, perfect for an evening around the fire beneath the stars. During the day, take your time exploring the property, listening to the birdlife and watching for wallabies and wildlife. Or simply stay on the deck, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and let the day unfold slowly. Guest access Guests have access the entire area around the Cabin and are welcome to go for a walk and explore. There will be signs showing where there is no access. Other things to note A few things to know before booking Cabin By The Creek is a genuine off-grid nature experience, which is part of its charm. Because you're staying amongst nature, you may encounter wildlife and insects including mosquitoes, ticks, bush turkeys and occasionally snakes. Repellent and mosquito coils are provided. The cabin operates off-grid and air conditioning is powered by our generator. There are some limitations on electrical appliances and no EV charging. The bathroom uses an eco-friendly green loo and, because we operate a grey-water system, we ask guests to use the toiletries provided. Cooking is primarily outdoors on the BBQ/deck cooking area, with an outdoor gas stove and firepit cooking facilities. This is a nature retreat rather than a traditional hotel — come expecting birdsong, wildlife, fresh air, firelight and the occasional reminder that you're in the Australian bush. If that's your idea of a getaway, you're going to love it here.
