The Barn is a private countryside stay designed for relaxation and time together. Sleeping up to 7 guests, it offers a spacious open-plan ground floor with comfortable seating and a widescreen TV — ideal for unwinding after a day out. Outside, a terrace with BBQ and hot tub provides the perfect spot to enjoy the surrounding views and slower pace of the Derbyshire countryside. The space Living space The Barn is centred around a spacious open-plan living area, designed for relaxing together. Large sofas, a widescreen TV and wide countryside views create a comfortable space to unwind after a day out. The flexible dining area sits within this space, making it easy to cook, eat and spend time together without feeling separated. Kitchen The modern kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catered stay, with plenty of space to cook and prepare meals at your own pace. You’ll find everything you need, including: oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. Bedrooms The Barn sleeps up to 7 guests across three thoughtfully arranged spaces: A double/twin bedroom with en suite shower room A separate twin bedroom An open-plan sleeping area for three It works well for families or small groups who want to stay together in a relaxed, informal layout. Bathrooms Alongside the en suite, there is a family bathroom and a downstairs WC, giving flexibility and convenience for your stay. Outside space Step out onto your terrace, where you’ll find a hot tub (additional charge), BBQ and outdoor seating. It’s a simple, quiet space to enjoy the surrounding countryside — particularly in the evenings. Shared facilities Guests at The Barn also have access to shared on-site facilities, including: - Games barn with table tennis and table football - Fire pit area - Open paddock for ball games - Shared laundry facilities Guest access Guests have private use of The Barn throughout their stay, including the open-plan living space and outdoor terrace. The terrace includes seating, a BBQ and hot tub (available for an additional charge), all for your exclusive use during your stay. You will also have access to shared on-site facilities at Standlow Farm, including the games barn, fire pit area, open paddock for ball games, and shared laundry. These spaces are available for all guests staying on site. Parking is available on site, a short walk from the property. Other things to note Pets are welcome by prior arrangement (£30 per pet, per stay). The hot tub is available for an additional £100 per stay. Check-in is from 3:00pm Check-out is by 10:00am Early check-in (from 1:00pm) and late check-out (until 1:00pm) may be available on request at £50 per hour. Availability is confirmed the day before arrival/departure, depending on cleaning schedules. Arrivals before 1:00pm or departures after 1:00pm are charged as an additional night. To ensure smooth changeovers for all guests, unauthorised early arrivals or late departures may incur additional charges.
