This summer house is located in Södra Näsby – in the heart of the unique UNESCO World Heritage site Southern Öland Agricultural Landscape – and offers an experience beyond the ordinary. Here, you overlook the Baltic Sea, surrounded by open fields and grazing cows as your closest neighbors. A place to breathe, unwind, and simply be. On the 2,000 m² property, you're greeted by birdsong, the wind in tall grass, and an open view across farmland and sea. There is space here for true relaxation – whether it’s morning coffee in the sun or a glass of wine under the stars. The terrace, with infrared heating and a lounge area, invites you to let the evenings linger. A Weber gas grill is ready for summer dinners in the open air. The house (78 m²) has been gently renovated and carries a timeless warmth. It combines functional comfort with genuine Öland character. You will have the entire house to yourselves, including the following spaces: – Four bedrooms with a total of 8 beds, including single beds, bunk beds, and a larger master bedroom where the beds can be joined to form a double bed – Bathroom with shower, washing machine, and dryer – Fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area – Bright living room with sofa and additional dining table – Terrace with sea view, dining area, lounge seating, and infrared heater – Private EV charger, discreetly located next to the parking area This house wasn’t built to impress – but to invite stillness, presence, and real connection. It’s the reason our family has returned here, summer after summer, ever since the 1970s. Maybe it will become that place for you, too. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and the spacious garden. Everything is private – nothing is shared with others. To make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, the house offers: – Weber gas grill (we provide the gas) – Lounge-style outdoor furniture on the terrace – Three bicycles, one with a child seat – Moccamaster coffee maker for truly good morning coffee – 40-inch TV, blu-ray/DVD player, and Apple TV – Air-to-air heat pump to keep the house cool on warmer days – Washing machine and tumble dryer – Dishwasher – Fridge/freezer and microwave – EV charger – you're welcome to use it, and simply pay for the electricity consumed Everything is in place to ensure a relaxed and comfortable stay – with peace and freedom as your backdrop. Other things to note Guests are expected to bring their own bed linens and towels. If needed, it’s possible to borrow bed linens and duvet covers, but you must wash, dry, fold, and return them to the wardrobe before departure. Final cleaning is not included. Before leaving, you are responsible for cleaning the house so that it’s ready for the next guest. This includes: – Vacuuming and mopping all floors – Wiping down kitchen surfaces, tables, and the bathroom – Doing the dishes and putting everything back in place – Emptying the trash – Returning furniture and items to their original position We expect the house to be left clean, tidy, and in good condition.
