The space Nestled between the sea and the mountains in Sainte-Madeleine-de-la-Rivière-Madeleine, this former fisherman's house dating from 1900 immerses you in a spectacular setting, with views of the sea, the beach, and the region's iconic landscapes. Here, old-world charm meets modern comfort: 3 bedrooms, a study, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bathtub, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a furnished terrace, and an outdoor fireplace to extend evenings in the fresh air. The house invites you to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy every moment—sipping coffee by the river, dining outdoors, gathering around the fire in the evening, spending a day exploring, or simply taking in the scenery from inside. During the season, it is sometimes even possible to spot whales from the house. Nearby, you will have access to a wide range of activities and iconic locations: sea excursions, fishing, hiking, the beach, the village, the lighthouse, the Madeleine River, Forillon, Gaspé, Percé, and much more. A perfect destination for lovers of nature, authenticity, and wide-open spaces. Other things to note Here, there is no Wi-Fi—an intentional choice to allow you to fully disconnect and enjoy nature. However, the LTE cellular network remains accessible. For your leisure time, you will have access to a turntable with vinyl records, a sound system to connect your phone, a VHS player with videotapes for the whole family, a Chromecast, board games, and an Xbox (games not provided, only one controller on site). A projector is also available in Room 2. The indoor fireplace is closed during the summer for safety reasons, but the outdoor Gaspé-style fireplace is available for your use. Access to the beach is right in front of the house, across the road, between the pink house and the red-roofed house.
