The cottage is pet-friendly (maximum two dogs; no dogs permitted upstairs) and ideal for those looking to explore the local countryside on foot or by bike. Secure cycle storage is available in the rear yard, and a freezer is also provided in the outbuilding. We include towels, bed linen, and a digital welcome book with helpful local tips and information. Skipton’s historic town centre, independent shops, restaurants, pubs, canal walks and 900-year-old castle are all within walking distance. The famous Skipton Market takes place four days a week, and the surrounding Dales offer beautiful walks and scenic views. Please note: - The staircase is steep (13 steps) and may not be suitable for all guests - There is no designated parking, but free street parking is nearby - Short-stay parking is available close to the cottage for loading/unloading - Early check-in is available on request (from 1.30pm) - Check-out is by 10am We live locally and are usually available should you need any assistance during your stay.
