Visit our lovely tranquil 2 bedroom home situated in the heart of the Chew Valley just a few minutes drive from Chew Valley Lake. Visit Chew Magna with its superb restaurants and pubs or walk up the road to our local, the Blue Bowl Inn. Surrounded by the Mendip Hills there are walks from the front door, with fishing, sailing and bird watching all available locally. Or hop in your car and take a trip to Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge and many local attractions Easy reach of Bristol, Bath or Wells The space Sunnyside has two bedrooms and is perfect space for upto four adults. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and a dressing room area. The second bedroom has twin beds. A main shower room with a powerful electric shower, toilet and sink. It also boasts a very large open plan living area complete with sofas and television, a dinning area with a table that seats 4 people, kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and breakfast bar. Large entrance hall. Balcony (not available in the winter, sorry) and car parking space adjacent to building. Guest access Sunnyside is located in the old stable block which is adjacent to the farmhouse. Upon entering the property via its own front door, there is a large hallway for shoes and coats etc. with the main living accommodation accessed via a flight of internal stairs. Guests have private access to a balcony off (access mid-April to end of October) the open plan living area. This has a coffee table and chairs and is a great space to enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner. Other things to note Welcome to our delightful annex ‘Sunnyside’. Just a five minute drive to Chew Magna with its award-winning pubs and restaurants, it is a doddle to go for a superb meal or just a drink and sample some of the local ales and ciders. An easy three minute walk up the roadside is the Blue Bowl Inn, which hosts a whole range of great pub grub on its menu. Surrounded by rural farmland and extremely close to Chew Valley Lake. Sunnyside is a tranquil two bedroom home situated in the heart of the Chew Valley, allowing you to make the most of the peace and quiet. Take an easy 20 minute drive to any of the 3 best cities in the South West (Bristol, Bath or Wells). Have a glorious day trip to Cheddar Gorge, explore the Mendip Hills or visit Glastonbury with lovely country roads accompanying you along the way. Enjoy the various festivals in the local area from art trails, music events, garden festivals at Yeo, The Fringe Festival or any of the local beer and cider events. Superb walks from the front door, along with fishing, sailing, mountain biking, horse riding, caving, star gazing and bird watching are all readily available. Or just simply sit back and leave the world behind. We are approx 10- 15 minutes from Bristol Airport and Uber or a taxi service can be booked from the property. We live on site with our young daughter, dog and Indian running ducks. At present we are unable to accept children or pets in the property.
