Charming cottage on the edge of a peaceful Peak District hamlet with stunning views of Stanage Edge & Win Hill. Close to Bamford, Hathersage & Hope - perfect for exploring the Hope Valley by car, foot or bike. Easy access by car, train and bus. The nearest train station is Bamford (10 minute walk) and the bus from Sheffield stops at the bottom of the Hamlet (6 minute walk). The space Sitting in an acre of land this cottage sleeps 2 (plus cot available on request) consisting of an open-plan kitchen/living space, spacious bathroom, bedroom with beautiful views and off-road parking. The original farmhouse dates from the 1650’s (our family home) and the attached ‘The Old Dairy’ from some time in the 1700’s - now an ideal traditional building with all modern amenities! Guest access You will enjoy privacy in your contained cottage, with the peace of mind that we can be on hand for any queries or issues during your stay as we live in the attached farmhouse next door. Other things to note We look forward to welcoming you, and can offer advice on local walks, bike rides, things to see as well as lovely pubs and places to eat. Travel cot and high chair available on request. We’re happy to welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at the cottage (with the pet fee paid). Please note: 🐾. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds — this helps us keep the space fresh and comfortable for all our guests. 🐾. Dogs should not be left free and unattended in the cottage to prevent any accidental damage or distress.
