A peaceful and comfortable retreat in one of the most attractive villages in the heart of NW Norfolk; within touching distance of the coast, local towns and beautiful countryside. A compact annexe with all you need to enjoy this very special area. The space One of the most attractive villages situated in the heart of North West Norfolk, Great Massingham is surrounded by countryside. Only 15 minutes from King’s Lynn, 25 minutes to the coastline and its many beautiful beaches, and 45 minutes to the city of Norwich, it is perfectly situated for those wanting to get away from it all but still remain in touch. The historic Peddars Way runs close by giving walkers and birdwatchers choices for many walks. The village enjoys everything from grocery shop, butchers, tearoom, village hall bar and award winning pub, all you need to enhance your stay here. The Bit On The Side The annexe is tucked away down the driveway, just away from the main road – you swap the sound of traffic for the sound of birdsong. Entering this one-storey dwelling, to your left you will find the open plan kitchen/living area. The kitchen is equipped with cooking facilities; induction hob; microwave/multi oven; fridge and (small) freezer and all the standard facilities to enjoy preparing meals. Hot water and central heating is plentiful and comes via a combi boiler. The living area looks out over the garden and comprises a cosy seating area with sofa, WIFI, smart TV, smart speaker, and for those not so interested in technology, a variety of books and games. Open the living room door at the back and there is a small verandah to sit and watch the sun going down, over a glass or two of wine perhaps. Feel free to wander round the garden, it is one woman’s efforts to keep weeds and rabbits at bay, and frequently I lose! Back inside, the bedroom contains a double bed and plenty of storage, and off the bedroom is a shower room and toilet. Guest access On arrival, please use either of the two driveways during your stay. The annexe is situated in the grounds of my house and you are more than welcome to take advantage of the garden, but do be careful - in some areas the ground is rough and uneven.
