After a fundamental renovation and restoration phase of the building, a total of 6 apartments were created here. The building is a Görlitz architectural monument. After complete destruction by another fire in 1817, the house was rebuilt. From this time also comes the inscription above the Baroque portal of sandstone with the alliance coat of arms, burned down on the 30th. July 1817, built in 1818. After being taken over by the city as owner in 1822, the offices of the "Royal Prussian Inquisitorate" were set up there.
