Cwmbwch Sugar Loaf Mountain

This picturesque cottage is nestled on the Sugar Loaf Mountain, Abergavenny with direct walking access to the top. It's surrounded by the most glorious unspoiled views. You'll see plenty of wildlife including deer, badgers, foxes, hares, buzzards and red kite. Perfect for sharing with friends or family , hiking the local hills or visiting the bustling towns of Crickhowel ( 3.5 miles) or Abergavenny (7 miles). Cardiff is an hours drive, where fantastic shopping, food and museums can be found. The space Sleeps 6 to 7 guests over 3 bedrooms. The house can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 1 child . A travel cot and highchair available on request. Please note that a minimum of three, 4* plus ratings on Airbnb are required for booking. One very well behaved dog is allowed, please see details below for full information regarding your dog's stay. Due to the extra cleaning required there is a further £50 charge for dog stays. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with ensuite shower and toilet, Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and bedroom 3 has 3 singles beds ( 1 only suitable for a child under 12 as it's an occasional bed). Bedrooms 2 and 3 connect to one another sharing a family bathroom with Bath. This is a secluded property accessed by a narrow country track not suitable for low sports type cars or minibuses. Please make all the members of your party aware of this. This road is used by farmers so please do not obstruct at any time. The first floor is accessed by a steep spiral wooden staircase, a baby gate is fitted to the top of this but is only closed with a hook. The house is fully equipped for your stay. In the kitchen you will find a stand mixer, ideal for making dough to cook your pizza in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven. We also provide logs for the fire in the lounge and for the outdoor firepit on the patio. We provide the essentials like tea,coffee, handwash, kitchen roll, cling film and foil, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, basic dried herbs, cooking oil and toilet roll etc. You will also receive a welcome hamper that contains bread, milk, butter and some tasty treats. We do not however supply shampoo, conditioner or body wash. On the handmade Suffolk beds you will find luxurious White Company bedding, both bathrooms have extra large bath towels. Other things to note Supermarket deliveries are not possible here. The property has many different levels so is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or those who cannot climb stairs due to limited mobility. There is no mobile signal at the property other than EE network, we do however have full fibre internet. The cottage is surrounded by fields and occasionally the lovely local farmer that rents these fields sometimes needs access to his sheep. So we ask you to please always park in the designated area and do not block the access road at any time. You are welcome to borrow the local maps during your stay, if you'd like ideas for walks please do ask. Please close attention to the recycling/rubbish information. Max 2 black bags per week's stay. If bringing a dog please ensure that they Stay downstairs at all times All dog foul is collected and put in the general waste bin That they are on a lead at ALL times other than the enclosed gated back garden area ( we are surrounded by livestock) Any damage caused by your pet is your responsibility and you will be charged accordingly Should they accidentally urinate inside please use the products supplied immediately to clear up the mess and inform us of the location so we can pay particular attention to cleaning that area after you leave. Dog bowls and spare towels for wiping mucky paws are provided along with poop bags.
