"Burg Ann" Vacation Apartment Cozy small apartment in nature! Vacation as a couple or as a small family - the main thing is time together! Right in the middle of the beautiful Sahrbach valley. Spend time with your loved ones in the evening with a glass of red wine or playing by the tiled stove, enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning on the cozy corner bench, relax after the hike in the garden overlooking Sahr Castle. Endless destinations for all ages or simply do nothing - everything is possible! The space You will spend your time together with your loved ones in the cozy and quiet small apartment on the ground floor of a detached house, surrounded by garden, meadows and right on the edge of the forest. The apartment was completely renovated in autumn 2024. The car or motorcycle or your bicycles can be conveniently parked in the courtyard in front of the house. Your hosts live in the same house in a separate area of the well-kept quarry stone building, you use the same house entrance. You have separate access to the garden. There you can barbecue together or just enjoy the sun. Guest access From the hallway you reach the ground floor apartment, consisting of a living room with kitchen, sitting area and tiled stove, a bedroom with double bed (180 x 200) and pull-out sofa bed (a baby travel bed is also available), and a state-of-the-art bathroom with walk-in, floor-level shower and very individual industrial style elements. The kitchen offers you everything you need. Modern induction stove with oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. A basic set of spices, cleaning agents, dishwasher tabs, soap, toilet paper is ready for you. In the cooler months, the crackling tiled stove conjures up a special atmosphere. In summer you can enjoy the garden and the opportunity to grill and relax. If needed and on request, another, even larger bedroom on the first floor is available. The room is accessible via the staircase in the hallway and offers a private sink. The shower and toilet are used in the apartment on the first floor. Here, too, a baby bed can be set up. Other things to note If you want to have nature right outside the door, you are in the right place in the apartment "Burg Ann". Right next to the house, the first of several hiking trails begins and opposite you can see the Sahr Castle, which has shaped the name of the Burgsahr district (inhabited and privately owned, no public tours). For example, hike to the radio telescope in Effelsberg. On the way you pass the Gretelstollen, turn the crank and see how deep the tunnel leads into the mountain.
