The Pension Altes Rathaus is a historical building that was used as a town hall 150 years ago. Thick walls guarantee natural coolness in summer and warmth in winter. A spacious lawn and two parking spaces can also be used. The cozy apartment is located in a quiet location on the edge of downtown Aachen, at the same time geographically close to recreational areas (Eifel, Dutch Switzerland, Ardennes) as well as connections to highways to Cologne, Düsseldorf, Brussels, Amsterdam, etc. The space As a building several hundred years old, the apartment is modernly furnished inside and has all the utensils necessary for a nice stay. It is quite cozy in the apartment, especially in the spacious dining room, which also houses the kitchen, and in the bright living room, from where our guests have direct access to the lawn and garden with terrace. It's a great place to sunbathe and marvel at the huge old trees and curious garden plants. From a position higher on the property, in good weather, a sensational distant view of Aachen, the Voreifel and the Hürtgenwald can be experienced. In unfavorable weather, guests in the apartment can cook, read, watch TV or just relax. Guest access On the left side of the house is the separate house entrance for guests. The entire living space of 92 square meters is at your disposal, as is the large lawn with terrace behind the house. Other things to note Aachen hosts some interesting events annually: At the beginning of the year, during the Carnival season, there are Rosenmontag trains and events such as the Order's awarding against the animal seriousness (also broadcast on national television). In summer, the world's most famous equestrian show jumping and riding tournament Chio takes place in the Soers (3 km away). In June of each year, the Aachen Karl Prize is awarded to famous personalities who are committed to the agreement of Europe. Then the market fills up in front of Aachener Rathaus with thousands of outlookers. In winter, tens of thousands of international visitors come to the Aachen Christmas Market on Bendplatz (3 km).
