A newly renovated, 119 sq meters, house located in Hvalfjordur with a great scenery over both mountains and the ocean. Close to major tourist attractions such as Húsafell and Glymur (Iceland’s highest waterfall) while the Golden Circle, Langjökull & Snæfellsnes are all within reasonable driving distance. The place is located only 20 minutes by car from Akranes, where one can find all necessities, tourist information and other general service, 30 minutes from Borgarnes and only a short 45 minute drive from the capital, Reykjavík. In close vicinity to the house you can find an outdoor swimming pool and two of the best golf courses in the country. The northern lights (aurora borealis) can be seen from the house and the comforts of the newly installed (geothermal) hot tub.
