Thuir remains unspoilt by tourism with traditional shops, supermarkets and restaurants in which to sample the local cuisine. Set in a fine wine-growing region, Thuir is a superb location for either a quiet relaxing or action packed holiday. The extent of exploration in the area is beyond belief with its enticing markets, exotic gardens, rock pools, spectacular caves, gorges and rivers. Amongst many other activities in the surrounding area there is horse riding, golf, fishing, water sports and of course wine tasting.
