Unique, secluded and tranquil yet only 15 minutes from the centre of the City of Bath, welcome to our converted horsebox ‘Hold your Horses’. This converted horsebox offers a spacious off-grid high-end glamping get away. As you drive through the paddocks into your exclusive escape you leave the stresses behind to be surrounded by nature. Set in an ideal location for exploring, as borders multiple counties such as the beautiful City of Bath, Wiltshire, Bristol and the idyllic Cotswolds. The space Hold your Horses is an ‘off grid’ tiny home, located at the top of a beautiful valley just outside of Bath. You will have the luxury of exclusivity, as surrounded by acres of private fields, it really is the definition of 'getting away from it all'. The Snug / Kingsize Bed The snug is Kingsize memory foam mattress bed area over the cab of the horsebox providing a cosy space to nestle down for the night. The snug has fairy lights surrounding to help provide a tranquil space to settle down for the night. Living Room / Double Bed The living room has a comfortable spacious corner sofa, which becomes a blissful memory foam topped double bed. Within the living room you’ll find a projector you can Bluetooth your device to and enjoy your favourite entertainment, although no WIFI, there is excellent data and signal for streaming. Otherwise, if you want to leave technology behind, there a selection of board games and books to enjoy. The living room provides a perfect spot to admire view of the cows, foxes, butterflies and birds of prey through the French doors opening to the valley and balcony. Kitchen The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven/ grill, cooking utensils, two hobs a small fridge with little freezer drawer and a coffee machine. Combined with crockery, children's dishware, with everything you need to rustle up a lovely meal to enjoy at the dining table or outside at the picnic table. Bathroom The on-board bathroom has a shower, sink and eco-friendly separating toilet (odour free, no nasty chemicals, no need to add compost, or brave the outside in the middle of the night). Balcony / Surrounding Grounds The fenced balcony is a raised outside area, with bistro seating to enjoy and provides a secure outside space for any dogs and children. If you don’t fancy enjoying a glass of something on the balcony, there is a picnic table to enjoy alfresco dining. There is a ground secure dog lead to ensure your pooch can explore and share the outside with you safely. Locally There are 8 local country pubs less than 10minutes drive away. Or you can head into Bath (which is a 15 minute drive away) to explore the variety of cuisines the city has to offer. Wonderful country walks are on your doorstep to explore for miles if you wish. Also nestled in the surrounding fields are two organic wild meadow secure dog fields available to hire for you and your canine friends if preferred. However, if you want to explore a little further, you can be sightseeing the famous Roman Baths in 15minutes, Bristol City centre in 30minutes, Badminton (and onward deeper into the Cotswolds) in less than 20 mins - this venue really offers you options for you to explore and enjoy! We would be happy to offer you information to help you get the most out of your stay. Guest access Hold your Horses is situated on a working farm. Cows and horses are often grazing in the fields and may be out of sight, but that does not mean they aren’t there. Please always keep dogs on a lead in the field and ensure children are appropriately supervised. Other things to note Hold your horses is an off-grid glamping tiny home, while you’ll never run out of water for washing, it’s not tested to be drinking water, but we provide bottled water for your arrival. The kitchen is run on gas provided, however your electricity is produced by solar and stored in large batteries. This should offer more than you’ll need each day for lights, projector, phone charges etc even if it's been overcast. However, if you plan to use lots of plugged in devices this probably isn’t the spot for you. There is no WIFI but there is excellent mobile data and signal.
