Hidden to be discovered, our apartment is located in the original seclusion of Axaquira, the hinterland of the Costa del Sol, at the foot of La Maroma/2060 m in the Sierra Tejeda Nature Park, surrounded by olive & almond trees in a Mediterranean region with 320 days of sunshine. Bookable for exclusive use, also with service. Hike, chill on the roof terrace, relax in the pool, enjoy the view, or just be yourself. Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada all within reach of us. The space Our guests expect a holiday home, secluded, but not lonely. The path to the Casa leads over a gravel road, past wildly romantic scenery, haciendas and fincas. On the spacious roof terrace you will find 2 sun loungers with cozy pillows and a seating area overlooking the La Maroma. On the covered terrace in front of the Casa you can relax in the outdoor bed, as well as you swim in the pool right in front of the large, sliding glass doors. A large dining area, partially shaded, as well as 2 sun loungers are at our disposal. A large awning all over the front offers extra sun protection. You can refresh yourself under the outdoor shower ,which is located next to the pool. The king size bed offers a good night's sleep, a mosquito net included. There is a large walk-in rain shower in the bathroom. Hair dryer, straightener, towels, beach towels, yoga mats and the associated beach bag can of course be used by guests. In the open kitchen, guests can expect microwave, kettle, toaster, gas stove, fridge and freezer combination as well as all kinds of cooking utensils as well as exquisite knives to prepare their food. A stylish indoor dining area right in front of the large glass fronts acts as a bar table and lounge space in one. Next to the fireplace are 2 relax armchairs overlooking the olive groves, a large selection of books are waiting to be read. With the sound system, you decide whether to relax or dance. Free Wi-Fi as well as perfect cell phone reception are available throughout the area. A gas grill is available for our guests to cook outdoors. Nature is right outside the front door, and hiking or horseback riding are possible in the Sierra Tejeda. ... and the sea is only 25 minutes away, as are various shopping markets. Looking forward to seeing you soon!!! Guest access The entire Casa Piedra is available for our guests' exclusive use, including the large roof terrace. There you will find 2 sun loungers with comfortable cushions and pillows as well as a small seating area with table & chairs, perfect for ending the evening and experiencing the sunset over the Sierra Tejeda with a cocktail. Also a perfect place for your yoga workout, yoga mats are available. In front of the Casa there is an outdoor bed, a dining area, the private pool and 2 deck chairs. Two cozy pillows lie by the pool and invite you to let your feet wander into the water and gaze into the valley. Great hiking, for every need, can be done in the Sierra Almijara and Tejeda, just above Casa Piedra, about 10 minutes by car from us. The coast is 25 minutes away, Caleta, Torre del Mar, Torrox Costa, Nerja to name a few, offer the vacationer small bars and restaurants located directly by the sea. Malaga, the Camenito del Rey, Ronda and Marbella are within reach of us as day trips and are definitely worth seeing. Granada with a visit to the Alhambra is a MUST on a trip to Andalusia. Other things to note Dogs are welcome in our house, please send a request in advance. 3 Galgos live with us on our property, they are always very happy about new guests, especially if there are treats, but otherwise keep in the background. They are extremely social with other dogs and very sweet. A rental car is available for our guests, let us know by email before booking if you would like to use this service on site, this includes a transfer to and from the airport, please let us know if you would also like to use this service.
