Hidden to be discovered, our apartment is located in the original seclusion of the Axaquira, the hinterland of the Costa del Sol, at the foot of La Maroma/2060m in the Sierra Tejeda Nature Park, surrounded by olive and almond trees in a Mediterranean region with 320 days of sunshine. The space Our guests can expect a holiday home, secluded but not lonely. The path to the Casa leads over a gravel road, past a wildly romantic landscape, haciendas and fincas. On the spacious roof terrace, 2 sun loungers with cozy cushions and a seating area overlooking the La Maroma await you. On the covered terrace in front of the Casa, you can relax in the outdoor bed, as well as swim in the pool directly in front of the large, sliding glass doors. A large dining area, partly shaded, as well as 2 deckchairs are available to our guests. A large awning over the entire front offers additional sun protection. You can refresh yourself under the outdoor shower, which is located next to the pool. The king-size bed offers a restful sleep, a mosquito net is included. The bathroom has a large walk-in rain shower. Guests can of course use the hair dryer, straightening irons, towels, beach towels, yoga mats and the corresponding beach bag. In the open kitchen, guests can expect a microwave, kettle, toaster, gas stove, fridge-freezer, and all kinds of cooking utensils, as well as exquisite knives for preparing their meals. A stylish indoor dining area directly in front of the large glass fronts functions as a bar table and lounge space in one. Next to the fireplace are 2 relaxing chairs with a view of the olive groves, and a large selection of books is waiting to be read. With the sound system, you decide whether to relax or dance. Free Wi-Fi and perfect mobile phone reception are available throughout the entire area. Above Casa Piedra is the Finca Duende, where there is a Burnhard gas grill that guests can use on request. Nature is right on the doorstep, hiking or horseback riding are possible in the Sierra Tejeda. ... and the sea is only 25 minutes away! Guest access The entire Casa Piedra is available for our guests' exclusive use, including the large roof terrace. There you will find 2 sun loungers with comfortable cushions and pillows as well as a small seating area with table & chairs, perfect for ending the evening and experiencing the sunset over the Sierra Tejeda with a cocktail. Also a perfect place for your yoga workout, yoga mats are available. In front of the Casa, there is an outdoor bed, a dining area, the private pool and 2 deck chairs. Two cozy cushions lie by the pool and invite you to let your feet wander into the water and gaze into the valley. Great hiking, for every requirement, can be done in the Sierra Almijara and Tejeda, just above Casa Piedra, about 10 minutes by car from us. The coast is 25 minutes away, Caleta, Torre del Mar, Torrox Costa, Nerja to name a few, offer the holidaymaker small bars and restaurants right by the sea. Malaga, the Camenito del Rey, Ronda and Marbella are accessible as day trips from us and are definitely worth seeing. Granada with a visit to the Alhambra is a MUST on a trip to Andalusia. Other things to note Dogs are welcome in our house, please send a request in advance. 3 Galgos live with us on our property, they are always very happy about new guests, especially if there are treats, but otherwise keep in the background. They are extremely social with other dogs and very sweet. A rental car is available for our guests.
