Welcome to our lovingly renovated apartment (Dec. 2024) in the listed thatched roof house. The private garden area with natural stone rondel is perfect for breakfast in the morning sun or relaxing evenings in the countryside. And even in winter, the special atmosphere of the 400-year-old house invites you to relax. It is wonderfully bright and sunny – a real gem for nature lovers, with many great excursion destinations in the surrounding area. The space The apartment and garden are in a southeast location and face the village street. As a result, the living room is always bright and sunny. The flat offers: • A cozy bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) • Fully equipped kitchen with pleasant underfloor heating • An inviting living room with sofa bed (120 cm wide sleeping surface) • A shower room with underfloor heating • as well as a seperate entrance area Wifi via fiber optic available The location: Goldenbek, district of the municipality of Pronstorf. • 5 min walk into the forest • 10 minutes by car to the swimming lake • 15 minutes to Bad Segeberg and the Karl May Festival • 25 minutes to Lake Plön • 35 min to the Baltic Sea • 50 minutes to Hamburg A retreat with history – and all the amenities you need to be comfortable. Guest access The private entrance to the apartment is in the former hall of the thatched roof house, which can be entered directly from the courtyard via the large hall door. The hallway is the historic utility area, where bicycles, strollers or other items can also be easily and safely stored. Parking is available in the courtyard. Other things to note Since the building is covered with thatch, it is forbidden to smoke in the house (including in the entrance area) and in the immediate vicinity. Barbecuing in the garden is allowed at a good distance from the house, but the embers must be carefully extinguished after barbecuing.
