Here, you’re welcomed like a friend – with a warm cup of tea, a cozy blanket, and a friendly atmosphere. The cats purr, the hens happily peck, and you’ll be spoiled with homemade meals. The house is alive: a cat on your bed, a wandering feather, a little mud after the rain… and sometimes, a child enthusiastically sharing their passions! If you love authenticity and the simple joys of life, welcome! You’ll feel as snug as a bug in a rug… among my hens. 🐔✨ The space Upstairs, your spacious 20 m² room awaits, with a 160x200 bed, a desk, and a sofa. Downstairs, you’ll find a cozy shared living room with a TV and a 70s harmonium. A shower room with integrated toilets, a laundry area where coffee and tea are available anytime, and a dining room with a grand 1930s table that can host up to 10 guests for shared meals. The garden, shaded by a 200-year-old ash tree, invites you to relax. Two large wooden tables offer the perfect spot for dining outdoors or working while listening to birdsong. One even has WiFi! A few scattered flowers, four resilient deck chairs, and birds sharing their space with the hens… Here, nature sets the pace of life. Guest access 💛 For your comfort 🔹 Private space: Your bedroom and shower are just for you. 🔸 Shared spaces with us: A cozy living room, a welcoming dining area (if you choose to have meals with us), a lovely garden perfect for relaxing, and the downstairs toilet, accessible during the day (especially in summer, as it’s conveniently located near the garden). Some areas are carefully maintained for your comfort, while others are left wild, providing a haven for toads, hedgehogs, and insects. Between a space for relaxation and a sanctuary for biodiversity, everyone finds their place here – humans and the small creatures we share this land with. We mow very little, mainly the paths… The rest belongs to insects and wildlife. Don’t expect a mini-golf course – here, nature sets the rules! 😉 My husband is a smoker, but very rarely indoors, only in the dining room at the end of the evening. We always make sure to air out the space to keep it comfortable for everyone. It is possible to have a meal with us for 10 euros per person, payable at the end of the stay.
