Guest rooms with private bath

Fjærland is a small village between the Sognefjord and the Jostedal glacier. Hiking, kayaking an bikerides are available. I rent out one separate bedroom with private bath, with shared living room and kitchen. Welcome! The space The house is situated right next to the fjord and offers a beautiful view of the mountains, glacier and fjord. Your bedroom also has a private balcony. Downstairs there’s a common room where I serve breakfast, included in the price. The house is situated in the centre of the village with plenty of nice walks nearby. Guest access There is a common livingroom and kitchen, as well as outdoor garden with view of the fjord. During your stay I live in the house as well, and work as a nurse in Førde, one hour’s drive away. Other things to note Fjærland has 300 inhabitants. The centre of the village is called Mundal, as all hamlets have their own name. In the centre you’ll find one grocery shop open 09.30-17.00. One hotel with excellent food, a la carte during the day and set menu at night (reservation recommended), 1 cafe. There is also a cafe by the Bøya glacier. Fjærland live from farming industry and tourism, a tradition that goes back to the 1800s. It is 3 km (30 min walk) to highway/ main road to Skei/Sogndal, both 30 min away by car/bus (runs 3 times a day)
