Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In addition to your seaside suite, we offer small boat rentals and salmon charters and sea life watching. If you take a suite for a month or more, we can provide free moorage for your boat. We have a no host happy hour next door (100' away) and a nice group of campers who have been spending the last 15 to 23 summers with us. We can help you clean fish, shrimp and crab , then vacuum pack, box and freeze. Open April 15 to Sept. 30 only. The space Our lodge, Alaska's Log Cabin is situated on a quiet, secluded back bay of the Pacific. We are on the inside ocean, with 30 miles of small islands to our west before one sees open ocean. This provides for sheltered fishing, sea life viewing and rental boats. Our island also has more miles of road than does the rest of Southeast Alaska. There are many villages one may visit including Port Protection. We can easily sleep 9 people in our three Sea Side Suites, four/suite is max. The best anyone can say about Alaska's Log Cabin is that our average guest has stayed with us for 8.7 years and two guest have returned for 28 years consecutively. Fishing or Sea Life Watching, 8 to 9 hrs, for up to four people - $995 Rental Boats $150/day plus fuel. Rods , Reels, nets, gaff hooks and VHF Radio included. Tax on the above is NOT included. Guest access You will have 100% usage of Suite VII plus you may use the covered deck facing the saltwater and our dock. Also, you are welcome to use the BBQ / Fish Smoker building just outside of your front door SMOKE FISH, NOT CIGARETTES! Smoking permitted out of doors. You may also attend a NO Host happy hour held about 100' away in our former campground every evening at 4 pm. Other things to note smoking out doors and off deck Smoke fish, not cigarettes-bbq & fish smoker just off deck in unattached building. Fishing or Sea life viewing charters-$995 for 8 to 9 hr. trip Price per room for a couple-$247/night, stay 7 nights and ONLY pay for six.
