The space This cottage is a place to slow down and feel at home — whether you’re cooking a cosy meal, playing board games by the oven, or watching the stars from the terrace. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook comfortably — including spices, oils, and a selection of local herbs to make tea or add flavour to your meals. The living room and dining area are furnished with vintage pieces and feature a large traditional wood-burning oven. There’s also a baby chair available if you’re travelling with little ones. The bedroom offers a king-size bed and a secondary daybed that easily converts into a queen with two comfortable mattresses. All beds are dressed in pure linen sheets for a soft, natural feel. A spacious vintage wardrobe gives you plenty of room to unpack and settle in. There is also a fireplace if you enjoy relaxing by the fire. If you prefer electric heating, the entire cottage can be easily warmed with radiators. The small bathroom, converted from the cottage’s former bread oven, now offers a clean, simple shower space. You’ll also have access to a spacious corridor and storage areas for your bikes, skis, or hiking gear. Last but not least, there’s a large terrace and backyard with a lawn — perfect for slow breakfasts, barbecues, or evenings in the outdoor Finnish sauna under the stars.
