Providing ample accommodation for up to two guests, the interior is pine throughout. With far-reaching views, this is an idyllic spot to relax in at the end of a great day. On entering into this light, fresh and inviting glamping pod you will find a relaxing open-plan living space & mini kitchenette with shower room & toilet. The comfortable and welcoming space is perfect to snuggle up together and spend the evening with a good book or a favourite TV show. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you may need during your stay. You have your own decked area where you can relax with a morning coffee, a glass of wine in the evening or an alfresco meal as the sun goes down. The village has a grocery shop a cafe & public transport just a short stroll away. Guest access Your pod is exclusively for your use. Other things to note Cannich is at the centre of one of the most scenic areas in Scotland. We are surrounded by lochs, mountains, fishing rivers, waterfalls & wildlife. We have two National Nature Reserves & an RSPB Reserve in the area. Roads from the village lead into Glen Cannich, Glen Affric, Glen Strathfarrar, & Glen Urquhart. We are an ideal base to explore all of these features. For the walker there are 18 Munros in the area while our rivers are renowned for the quality of salmon & trout fishing. We are also on the Affric Kiltail Way route. There are also lots of locations for cold water swimming. PLEASE NOTE Cannich is a small rural village located 15 minutes from Loch Ness & 30 minutes from Inverness. If you are looking for walking, hiking, rivers, lochs, waterfalls & scenery we are the ideal location for you. If you are looking for night-life we may not be the destination for you. There is a shop/café bar next door & another café near-by. The Tomich hotel is a 5 minute drive away which is closed for renovation but will re-open in June.
