A peaceful stay by a small lake – “Au Paradis des Grèbes” holiday cottage, offering immersive view of, and direct access to, the small lake Perfect for lovers of nature, art and culture, with a museum, art gallery, art-studios (including one on the water, available to hire), and books, indoor and outdoor games, and art supplies available on request. The space A stone house with a slate roof, offering sweeping views and stunning scenery, situated along a small lake, with the rear opening onto a private courtyard shared by the three cottages. A large garden, accessible through a gate, runs alongside the lake. You can gaze at the lake and observe its flora and fauna; take photos; sketch and paint*; hike and marvel at the woods, rivers, and hills; watch waterfowl—including the famous grebes—glide, swim, and dive; admire the white egrets; go paddle-canoeing *; visit the museum; have lunch at the restaurant ; stroll through the courtyard or the house’s garden; have a picnic; enjoy a dessert at the tea room; head to the beach; go sightseeing; and, depending on the schedule, participate in creative and/or nature workshops, and/or learn the basics of plant-based cooking; or read quietly… and enjoy peaceful, happy evenings… (* equipment available upon request) It’s up to you to plan your own schedule, or to let yourself be carried along by the flow of time.
